2011 Ford Mustang
Joint Venture with Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, Ford Motor Company,
and AMSOIL

Visual FX Custom Paint & Collision was approached directly by Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords Magazine / Ford Motor Company / AMSOIL in 2010. This project was completed specifically for the SEMA Show in Las Vegas where only the best of the best vehicles are chosen for display. This Mustang was shipped directly from Ford with zero miles to our Visual FX Custom Paint & Collision location in Orange Park, FL. Evan Smith, editor-in-chief of the magazine acted as the liaison between all parties. If there were any changes during this project it had to be approved by the board of directors at each company involved.

Visual FX received a complete rendering of the graphics, colors, specifications, etc. Our owner Paul Holman – with Ford’s approval - took a bit of a spin on their concept adding Blue Kandy True Fire on the bumper cover, hood, rockers, and deck lid. It was the final touches that took this project from mild to a showstopper. To date, this is one of our most memorable and honorable moments to complete this project directly for Ford Motor Company.

2006 Ford GT
Joint Venture with SCT Custom Tuning, Stage 6 Performance, HP Performance

The first twin turbocharged Ford GT was built in a joint effort between HP Performance, Stage 6 Performance, and SCT Custom Tuning. As a first of its kind, the car gained a lot of attention through social media, YouTube, and appearances at events with impressive performance numbers of 1453 horsepower and 1288 ft/lbs of torque!

Visual FX Custom Paint & Collision was approached by the car owner to make the appearance of the car as unique as it’s performance. The transformation for this Ford GT was truly a work of art. The car canvas was the factory Redfire Pearl Metallic. Paul removed the factory vinyl stripes and replaced them with painted black rally stripes and rocker stripes. He airbrushed realistic fire graphics on the interior of each stripe, using multiple color shades during the application process to visualize the appearance of actual fire.

The car was the center of attention at the Ford GT Owners Rally in August 2006 at Ford Motor Company’s Headquarters in Detroit, MI. This unique Ford GT was also featured in the SCT Custom Tuning booth at SEMA in Las Vegas in October 2006.

Pro Mod Mustang - Kevin Fiscus

Visual FX Custom Paint & Collision had completed work for the car owner previously, but primarily performed one-color work for other projects and vehicles. With Kevin’s winning record throughout the 2016 drag racing season, this uniquely refinished Pro Mod project received a great deal of exposure over the course of the racing season.

Kevin’s racecar is just one of many racecars that have been refinished over the years by Visual FX. We have been fortunate to work on several Pro Mod, Drag Radial, and True Street cars that have been featured and raced at events all over the country.

1956 Ford F-100 – Paul Valera

In 2012, F-100 truck owner Paul Valera came to Visual FX Custom Paint & Collision with an idea to create a truck like no other. He wanted a custom truck that stood out from all the rest. Yet the truck he provided needed a significant amount of work to become the creation he envisioned.

After over two years of custom fabrication with some details seen on no other truck of its kind, Visual FX’s team of talented fabricators and painters created a rolling work of art.

In 2014, Mr. Valera’s truck won the coveted honor of F-100 Super Nationals Truck of the Year!

This competition brings in trucks from all over the country once a year to compete in various categories, with an overall winner that exemplifies the best of the best for that given year. In 2014, Mr. Valera’s truck was in competition with over 780 beautiful vehicles for this coveted award.
